Not dead yet (and new projects announcements)

Hello!

So I wasn't that active through the last month. The plans were different, but the things sometimes go in unpredicted manner.

I'm happy to say I'm back to make more games, something extending on Tower of Fos and something quite different.

First, the obvious. I'm making another puzzle adventure game. I'm still not set on the exact title yet (codename: Empsychono Mansion), but it will be a continuation to the Tower of Fos. In other words - another Treasurerun game. Again you'll be set on a journey to retrieve a mysterious artefact. Again you'll be facing weird puzzles to resolve. And again you'll be trying to solve them as fast as possible. The game of course will include minimalistic style again (I laid my hands on a new drawing app, so I hope it will look better)... with a twist (although I'm not saying what it is).

What will be knew? Well, I'll design the puzzles from the start that they'll allow for randomisation, which should make the game fun each time you approach it. I'll add some in-game achievements (don't worry, more as a markers of player progression) and some hint system (let's say I plan that if you're stuck on a puzzle, but keep trying, the game will try to give you a hint). I'll definitely provide better output to player's actions (yeah... the three stream puzzle on the ground floor hides far too much). And of course something that was missing in the first game - more story background to what's going on. I hope you'll enjoy it.

Yet, this is for the future. I need some time to flesh out some of the ideas. Yet, I hope soon I could post more about it.

About the other project... well, I know what the title would be:

In Interregnum you'll be toss in the role into a dangerous times of a fictional kingdom. The king is dead and the new one has to be picked. The parliament faces a sudden and tragic loss of many of its members. The new power vacuum causes internal political struggles and the neighbours are keen on taking the advantage of the ongoing turmoil. You take the role of a temporal regent until the new rules is appointed. Who will take the throne? How the situation will shape the fate of your country? And the most important - how you will balance out the situation and ensure the right candidate ends up with the crown?

Interregum is going to be a combination of simulation and a strategy with pixel art graphics in which you'll have to talk with prominent figures and candidates to the throne, and use your limited power to keep the country going.

The kingdom needs the best of the best! So spread the news! (And stay tuned!)
