Tower of Fos update! (1.1(

Tower of Fos - version 1.1

First, I'd like to thanks for all the opinions I've got about the game and all the interest. It's always great to hear that someone likes the game!

So I've updated the game with few new features. I hope you're going to enjoy the game even more after it.

The updates apply for now to Windows version. I'll try to provide them to HTML version, but I keep struggling with some bugs.

The gameplay

A minor modification, but I tried to include few hints in the game about several puzzles. While they shouldn't straightforwardly reveal the answers, they should help with guiding the player on the right track.

Options

I added few new quality of life features you should appreciate:

  • Autosave - the same makes an autosave during the game, so you can close it and come back to it at any point. The game also saves the settings, so after restarting it, you can just simply go back to playing.
  • Fullscreen and window sizes - you can easily select one of the two predefined window sizes and switch to fullscreen. Also, button [F} on the keyboard serves now the same function as [Alt]+[Enter].
  • Text fading-in - you can now turn the fading option off if it annoys you. I mean, why to suffer? The games are about to be pleasant.
  • The menu button - now at any point of your adventure you can go back to the main menu to play around with settings, restart the game or simply just quit it to come back to it later. Be careful - time flies normally while you're in the menu (don't worry, when you simply load the autosave, the game will wait till you click "Continue" to start counting the precious seconds.

Have a nice day!

Thanks for the update. Now time to see if I can escape the tower. :)

Edit: Thanks to the subtle hint I was able to escape! But now I'm curious about the secret exit?! :)

Heh, that's a secret ;). I'll allow you to figure it out by yourself.

I'm glad to hear the hints I added are a helpful nudge into the right direction.
