A story of a fairy, a meadow, and bunch of hungry animals...
Hi there!
So I've released today my first Unity project called Fairy Meadow. It's a simple arcade game where your role is to pick up food and give it to animals before they run out of patience. I hope you can enjoy the game and have fun with it!
So far the gameplay is simple, yet fully functional. You have a level and your role is to get as many points as you can during ten stages or before you leave too of your guests without a snack.
What I really like is how much I managed to do by myself, not only programming, but graphics as well. I made each of the models in Blender, animated them. The same applies to textures. I even managed to create few sounds in sfxr. What I borrowed are default fonts and sprites for UI, and I put in a song by Kevin MacLeod - Master of the Feast - both tune and title fit the game perfectly!
I marked the game as in-development, as I plan to add few more features before I consider it fully complete. Some more food types, along with (perhaps) more animal types and more complex grid of who-eats-what could give a pretty interesting gameplay. I also consider making the meadow less flat, but that also involves changing how animals move a bit. Also some extra flair could improve this game as well.
I hope you enjoy the game and let me know what do you think of it.
Thank you for you attention and have fun!
